Frequently asked questions

Do you only train working breeds?
No. Breed informs the evaluation, but the individual dog and household determine the plan. Advanced work is available to suitable dogs of any breed.
My dog gets hours of exercise and is still wild. What am I missing?
Usually clarity, not mileage. Working breeds are built to work with a handler, and running a tired dog only produces a fitter dog. What changes things is structure and purposeful work, with drive pointed at something controlled and useful instead of burned off.
Lessons, Hybrid, or Board & Train, which one?
The same goal track runs through all three; what changes is who carries the daily implementation. Board & Train puts that on us, lessons put it on you with coaching and feedback, and Hybrid splits it between trainer intensives and your own practice. They carry different responsibilities and different assurances, so the evaluation drives the choice.
Is this protection training?
No. This is advanced obedience, neutrality, and control, which is the foundation protection work is built on but not the work itself. Protection is a separate program with its own evaluation, insurance requirement, and tier structure.
What does drive management actually mean?
Teaching a dog to switch drive on and off on your say-so rather than the environment's. A high-drive dog is not a problem because it has drive; it is a problem when a squirrel decides when the drive turns on. The work builds engagement, neutrality, and reliable outs so you hold that switch.
