Dog Training Across the Phoenix East Valley, Arizona
RIOS Canine Institute is based in Chandler and serves dog owners throughout the East Valley — Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Sun Lakes, and nearby communities — with structured training for family dogs and working dogs.
Training Available Across the East Valley
Start with the purpose of the training. We will then evaluate the dog, handler, environment, and safety requirements before recommending lessons, hybrid training, Board & Train, or a specialized working-dog path.
- Obedience, advanced training, and behavior modification
- Service-dog evaluation and foundations
- Family-protection evaluation and development
- Single- and dual-purpose working-dog development
Where every method is proven first
Every plan a Chandler dog runs through gets written down, measured, and kept. Not filed away — fed forward.
This floor is RIOS Canine Institute's flagship — the place a training method has to hold up under real dogs, real owners, and a real week before it ever reaches another RIOS Canine Institute location. What works here becomes the standard everywhere else. That is the whole reason this location exists in public, not just as a business, but as the proof.

Serving the East Valley
Common Questions
Which cities do you serve?
- Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, and Sun Lakes, each with a page of its own. We also work with owners in Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, San Tan Valley, and Maricopa.
What payment options are available?
- Eligible Board & Train packages allow at least 50% down with weekly or biweekly invoices ending by completion. Other package types are paid upfront, and payment in full receives a 5% discount where offered.
Do you travel to me, or do I come to you?
- Private and handler lessons run at your location or ours. Training at your own address is often the better choice, because most of what you need the dog to do differently happens on your street and in your house.
What if I am outside the cities listed here?
- Call and ask. Training fit and scheduling depend on the category, the dog, and the calendar rather than on a city line alone.
How do I find out what is available near me?
- Call 520-839-5124. We will confirm whether your location fits the work, where training should happen, and which of the four training categories is the responsible starting point.
